The Role: Laundry Supervisor - Upholding Our Standards of Excellence

As a Laundry Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the pristine condition of our linens, ensuring that every guest experience is marked by comfort and cleanliness. You will be instrumental in overseeing the daily operations of our laundry department, guaranteeing efficiency, quality control, and adherence to our high standards. This position is vital to our housekeeping operations, directly contributing to the luxurious and comfortable atmosphere our guests expect and love.

Key Responsibilities (Implied from the role and company):

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the laundry department.
Ensure all linens, uniforms, and guest items are cleaned, pressed, and handled according to Nordic Hotels Nigeria's quality standards.
Implement and monitor effective laundry procedures, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and inventory management.
Maintain equipment in optimal working condition and ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Train, motivate, and manage laundry team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Collaborate closely with the Housekeeping department to meet operational needs and guest expectations.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a proactive and meticulous individual with a proven track record in hotel laundry operations. If you meet the following requirements, we encourage you to apply:

Hotel Experience is a Must: Minimum of 1 year in a hotel environment.
Proven Leadership: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same or a higher supervisory role.
Housekeeping Operations Leadership: Experience in overseeing housekeeping operations is a distinct advantage.
Commercial Laundry Expertise: Previous experience in commercial laundry settings will be highly valued.
Pre-opening Experience: Experience with hotel pre-opening phases is an added advantage, demonstrating adaptability and strategic insight.
