As a JavaScript Developer with us, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our front-end and back-end platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for a developer who is eager to contribute to top-tier web applications from concept to deployment, analyzing code and developing robust designs.
Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:
- Writing, modifying, and debugging high-quality web applications using JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS.
- Designing, coding, and managing well-organized, efficient, and flexible JavaScript codebases.
- Creating new, user-centered features using modern JavaScript frameworks, ensuring an exceptional user experience.
- Developing new functionalities, enhancing existing features, and implementing timely bug fixes to maintain application integrity.
- Partnering closely with our design, back-end, and product teams to execute cohesive and effective solutions.
- Addressing performance roadblocks and other technical challenges, continuously enhancing applications for optimal speed and flexibility.
- Creating and running automated tests to ensure the highest standards of code quality and functionality.
- Troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues efficiently.
- Engaging in constructive code reviews and contributing innovative ideas to optimize our codebase.
- Ensuring seamless connection and integration of front-end elements with back-end services and APIs.
- Actively participating in Agile practices, including planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and review meetings.
- Proactively creating and implementing new features and functionalities that drive business value.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, MongoDB, and other relevant JavaScript frameworks.
- A strong foundational understanding of programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
- Proven experience working effectively within an Agile development environment.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills to collaborate effectively within a team.
- In-depth knowledge of client-side single-page applications that leverage modern frameworks suchs as React.js, Backbone, or Ruby.
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills to ensure robust and performant applications.
- Demonstrated experience with unit and integration testing.
