• Continuous Security Monitoring: Monitor and analyze security alerts across the organization's infrastructure using advanced SIEM, firewalls, and IDS/IPS tools.
• Incident Detection and Response: Proactively detect, thoroughly investigate, and swiftly respond to cybersecurity incidents to minimize business impact.
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing initiatives to identify and remediate potential security gaps.
• Log Analysis: Systematically review system and network logs to detect any suspicious, unauthorized, or anomalous activities.
• Security Controls Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain robust security controls and industry best practices.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Perform comprehensive risk assessments and recommend practical, effective risk mitigation strategies.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a proven track record in cybersecurity. The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 to 6 years of hands-on professional experience in a cybersecurity or IT security role.
• Networking Expertise: Solid understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Operating Systems: Strong familiarity with managing security across both Windows and Linux environments.
• Security Toolsets: Practical experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Threat Intelligence: A deep understanding of modern cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and structured risk management frameworks.
• Scripting Skills (Advantage): Basic scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash are highly desirable and will set you apart from other candidates.
