About the Role
As an ICT Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological literacy and digital skills of students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, comprehensive, and up-to-date computer science and information technology curricula, fostering a stimulating learning environment where students can thrive in the digital age.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured ICT lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum.
- Introduce students to fundamental computer operations, software applications, coding, and digital citizenship.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Maintain and troubleshoot classroom hardware and software to ensure a seamless learning experience.
- Prepare students for relevant digital skills assessments and competitions.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of a relevant academic qualification in Computer Science, Education, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience in an ICT role within a recognized educational institution is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current educational technology trends and teaching methodologies.
