To maintain this culture of excellence and entrepreneurial drive, Artee Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Human Resource Officer to manage and run the HR operations across VHIL locations within Lagos.
Job Summary
The HR Officer will oversee all human resources functions across VHIL locations within Lagos. This role involves recruitment, onboarding, policy enforcement, performance management, and HR analytics, coordinating training programs, managing staff attendance, welfare, handling queries, and overseeing general HR-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with the Business Manager to identify staffing needs, conduct interviews, assess candidates, and manage the entire onboarding process for new hires.
- Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across all locations. Implement and communicate HR policies in line with business goals.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance appraisals to evaluate employee performance, providing guidance and support to managers in addressing performance-related matters.
- HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR data to generate reports, and provide insights to drive informed decision-making. Prepare regular HR reports for management review.
- Training Program Coordination: Organize and coordinate in-house training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Attendance Management: Monitor and manage staff attendance records and leave requests across locations.
- Employee Welfare and Queries: Act as a point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and grievances. Facilitate resolution of employee issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- General HR Matters: Oversee all other general HR-related activities, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and best practices.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Your performance in this role will be measured by standard performance indicators, including:
- Time-to-Fill: Decrease time-to-fill without compromising candidate quality.
- Employee Turnover Rate: Maintain a low turnover rate by implementing retention strategies.
- Policy Compliance Rate: Maintain a high rate of policy compliance across all locations.
- Performance Evaluation Completion Rate: Ensure timely completion of performance evaluations for all employees.
- Absenteeism Rate: Reduce absenteeism by implementing strategies to improve attendance.
- Employee Satisfaction and Engagement: Maintain or improve overall employee satisfaction and engagement scores throughout employee lifecycle.
- HR Metrics Reporting Accuracy: Ensure precise and timely reporting to aid decision-making.
- Quick TAT on Staff Requests: Deliver rapid turnaround times on confirmation, leave, loan, and IOU requests.
- Training & Development: Design effective training plans and strategies to increase employee efficiency and motivation, aiming for at least an 80% achievement rate.
- Manpower Adequacy Level: Ensure 100% utilization of the budgeted manpower.
