The Role
As the Human Resource Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our people strategy. You will oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, ensuring that our workforce is empowered, motivated, and aligned with our corporate mission of delivering innovative housing solutions. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Alignment: Develop and implement HR strategies that directly contribute to the company's business objectives.
- Talent Management: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing top talent to seamless onboarding.
- Performance Excellence: Design and manage robust performance management systems, including KPI tracking and appraisals.
- Policy Development: Create and refine HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to ensure operational consistency.
- Employee Engagement: Cultivate a positive workplace culture that drives retention and promotes professional growth.
- Compliance & Relations: Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and ensure strict adherence to Nigerian labour laws.
- Learning & Development: Coordinate staff training, development programs, and succession planning.
- HR Analytics: Leverage HRIS to maintain records, report on metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Professional certification (CIPM, CIHRM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of Nigerian labour regulations and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
