The Role: HR Assistant

As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our human resources department. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring smooth HR processes, from recruitment and onboarding to compliance and employee relations. This position offers a chance to work across various HR functions, gaining comprehensive experience within a dynamic consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support: Actively assist in the recruitment lifecycle, including posting compelling job advertisements on various job boards and social media platforms, managing applicant tracking, and coordinating interviews.
  • Onboarding: Ensure a seamless and welcoming pre-boarding and onboarding experience for new hires, preparing necessary documentation and facilitating their integration into the team.
  • Record-keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for various HR functions.
  • Benefits Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits programs, assisting with enrollment, queries, and ensuring accurate record-keeping related to benefits.
  • Compliance: Help ensure that all HR practices and policies adhere to relevant labor laws and company regulations, contributing to a compliant and ethical work environment.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the coordination and tracking of performance management processes, supporting managers and employees through performance reviews and feedback cycles.
  • Employee Relations: Contribute to fostering a positive and productive work environment by assisting with employee relations inquiries, promoting open communication, and supporting resolution processes.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with a passion for human resources. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a human resources role.
  • Skills: Strong communication (written and verbal), excellent organizational abilities, proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), and a keen eye for detail.
  • Qualities: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, a strong work ethic, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
