Key Responsibilities and Duties

As the Head of School, you will provide strategic leadership and run the day-to-day operations of the academy. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Providing strategic leadership and overall management of the school.
• Ensuring excellence in academic standards, student welfare, and staff performance.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive school policies and strategic plans.
• Recruiting, mentoring, supervising, and evaluating teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with parents, regulatory bodies, and the host community.
• Overseeing budgeting, resource allocation, and overall school operations.
• Ensuring strict compliance with educational regulations and accreditation standards.
• Driving school growth, technological innovation, and continuous institutional improvement.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this prestigious leadership role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (a Master's degree will be an added advantage).
• A minimum of five (5) years of active teaching experience.
• At least two (2) years of proven experience in a school leadership or supervisory role.
• TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) registration is highly desirable.
• Cambridge certification is an added advantage, given our incorporation of international curricular standards.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Outstanding leadership, administration, and team-management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication alongside strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the British, Nigerian, and/or Cambridge curricula.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and educational technology tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage a diverse team.
