About the Role: Driving Digital Trust and Security

As the Head of IT Governance & Risk Compliance, you will be at the forefront of establishing and maintaining a robust technology risk management culture across Polaris Bank. Your primary mission will be to ensure unwavering compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, safeguarding the bank's digital assets, customer data, and reputation. This leadership position demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the intersection between technology, risk, and regulatory frameworks in the financial sector.

Key responsibilities will include:

Developing, implementing, and overseeing IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory mandates.
Leading the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology-related risks, ensuring proactive measures are in place to prevent potential disruptions or breaches.
Ensuring continuous compliance with local and international IT-related regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to the financial services industry.
Cultivating a strong risk-aware culture within the IT department and across the organization.
Collaborating with internal and external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders to facilitate assessments and drive continuous improvement in IT governance and risk posture.
Providing expert guidance and insights to senior management on technology risk, compliance matters, and emerging threats.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are searching for an exceptional individual with a proven track record in technology risk management and compliance within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline from a reputable institution.

Experience:

A minimum of 7 years of progressive and relevant experience in Technology Risk, IT Governance, Information Systems Audit, or Compliance, preferably within the financial services industry.

Certifications:

Candidates must possess at least one, and preferably multiple, of the following highly valued professional certifications:

CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)
CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT)
ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor (Information Security Management System)
