The Role: Graduate Assistant (Cyber Security)

In this role, you will work closely with senior faculty members, supporting the delivery of the Cyber Security curriculum, guiding undergraduate students in practical laboratory sessions, and actively participating in departmental research projects.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Academic Qualifications: Must meet the qualifications prescribed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and relevant professional regulatory bodies for Cyber Security and related computational sciences.
Postgraduate Focus: Candidates should possess or be on track to obtain relevant postgraduate qualifications in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or closely related domains, and be registered with appropriate professional regulatory bodies where applicable.
Practical Experience: Prior evidence of teaching, research, or laboratory instruction experience is highly desirable and will be considered a distinct advantage.
Skills & Attributes: A strong foundation in cyber security principles (network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, digital forensics), excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in academic research and student mentorship.
