About the Role
In this role, you will understand that educational gaming is about far more than just entertainment—it is about designing interactive systems that enhance learning outcomes, spark creativity, boost classroom participation, and drive student engagement. You will be responsible for creating, designing, and developing immersive educational games, simulations, AR/VR experiences, and gamified systems integrated directly into an innovative eLearning platform. You will turn traditional, static lessons into exciting storytelling and interactive gameplay adventures.
Key Projects You Will Work On:
- Educational mini-games that simplify complex concepts.
- Gamified assessments, quizzes, and progression tracking systems.
- Interactive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) simulations.
- Cutting-edge AR/VR learning environments.
- Multiplayer classroom activities that encourage collaborative learning.
- Character design, custom animations, and immersive storytelling experiences.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Build Educational Games & Simulations: Program and deploy engaging 2D and 3D educational games aligned with academic learning goals to boost student retention.
- Create Gamified Experiences: Design reward systems, badges, experience points (XP), progress maps, and dynamic challenges.
- Develop AR/VR Learning Environments: Construct immersive virtual worlds that allow students to interact visually and practically with abstract subjects.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with instructional designers, frontend engineers, curriculum developers, and classroom facilitators to bring pedagogical concepts to life.
- Optimize Multi-Device Performance: Ensure smooth execution and performance of interactive games across all platforms, including web browsers, tablets, and low-end mobile devices.
- Prototype & Innovate: Continually experiment with new technologies, multiplayer frameworks, and emerging pedagogical mechanics.
What We Are Looking For
Core Requirements:
- Solid understanding of game development principles, logic, UI systems, and gameplay mechanics.
- Proven experience building 2D and 3D games or simulations.
- Experience with AR/VR systems and interactive spatial experiences.
- Familiarity with performance optimization across diverse web and mobile platforms.
- Comfortable working within Git/GitHub workflows in a collaborative environment.
Nice to Have (EdTech Experience):
- Prior experience building gamified learning environments or educational products.
- An understanding of child-friendly UX/UI design principles and web accessibility.
- Experience integrating games into Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Familiarity with STEM, robotics, or digital literacy programs.
- Candidates with live interactive demos, AR/VR project portfolios, or educational game showcases will have an added advantage.
