Role Overview
In this position, you will be the backbone of warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the seamless movement, loading, unloading, and stacking of materials, ensuring that all goods are transported safely and efficiently throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is someone who prioritizes precision and safety above all else.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts with high attention to safety protocols while moving, loading, and stacking inventory.
- Facilitate the efficient transport of goods across warehouse and production floor areas.
- Perform critical daily pre-operation equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain high standards of material handling to prevent inventory damage.
- Proactively report equipment malfunctions or necessary maintenance to management.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting.
- Certification: A valid forklift operator certification is considered a significant advantage.
- Skills: A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
