Job Summary

The Facility Cleaner will carry out daily manual cleaning across offices, public areas, restrooms, corridors, and back-of-house zones. You will also provide light equipment support—such as using mop systems, vacuums, and basic floor-care machines—to the wider Cleaning & Janitorial team. This role requires a hygiene-conscious professional who strictly follows set cleaning schedules in a high-footfall environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning of floors, surfaces, fixtures, glass, and furniture across assigned zones.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms to a high hygiene standard while restocking consumables as required.
• Manage waste bins and trolleys following proper waste segregation and disposal procedures.
• Use manual cleaning tools safely and adhere strictly to cross-contamination protocols.
• Operate light cleaning equipment like vacuums, floor driers, and scrubber machines under guidance.
• Adhere to scheduled zone plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, following product labels and site safety protocols.
• Report maintenance defects, spillages, and hazards promptly to the Supervisor.
• Ensure public safety by using caution signs appropriately during cleaning operations.
• Support event-based deep cleans and high-traffic turnaround cleaning as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum basic education (primary/secondary); cleaning or hygiene certificates are an advantage.
• 1–3 years of commercial, institutional, or hospitality cleaning experience is preferred; motivated beginners are also welcome.
• Basic literacy to read safety signage, schedules, and chemical labels.
• Physical fitness to handle repetitive tasks, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• Reliable, punctual, and possessing a courteous, professional attitude.
