We are looking for a high-performing Executive Office Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of high-level strategic initiatives.
The People Practice specializes in helping startups scale and empowering individuals by bridging the gap to meaningful employment opportunities. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone for an executive office that goes far beyond standard administrative duties. You will actively drive a broad leadership agenda encompassing governance, thought leadership, lifelong learning, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and personal legacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Office & Strategic Planning: Act as the operational lead, maintain dashboards, translate ideas into structured work plans, and coordinate quarterly planning sessions.
- Governance & Board Affairs: Manage board calendars, prepare board papers, track governance commitments, and coordinate professional development.
- Thought Leadership & Intellectual Capital: Support the development of professional voice and intellectual contributions by managing speaking engagements, research, and publication opportunities.
- Leadership Development & Learning: Coordinate annual learning roadmaps, executive education, reading lists, and leadership programs.
- Strategic Relationships & Network Stewardship: Maintain relationship management systems, prepare briefing notes, and coordinate follow-up communications with senior stakeholders.
- Special Projects & New Ventures: Drive initiatives outside formal employment, including entrepreneurial ventures, advisory engagements, and impact projects.
- Executive Communications: Draft high-quality correspondence, manage confidential documents, and prepare meeting summaries.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who combines exceptional judgment with absolute discretion. Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree (postgraduate qualifications or project management certifications are a strong advantage).
- 3–5 years of experience supporting senior executives, entrepreneurs, or principals with diverse portfolios.
- Backgrounds in executive support, strategy, consulting, program management, or Chief-of-Staff environments.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and high emotional intelligence.
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to simplify complexity into structured execution.
