Opportunity: Executive Assistant at GZ Industries

GZ Industries, the premier aluminum can manufacturer in West Africa, is currently seeking a highly professional and experienced Executive Assistant to join their leadership team. As the company continues its rapid expansion across Sub-Saharan Africa, this role serves as the heartbeat of the Group CEO’s office, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment.

About the Role

This is a high-level position designed for a seasoned professional who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments. You will be instrumental in managing the GCEO’s office, providing confidential support, and ensuring that executive initiatives are executed with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Exco & Governance Servicing: Coordinate board-level agendas, compile high-impact board packs, and maintain accountability across leadership units.
Strategic Calendar Management: Command the GCEO’s schedule by prioritizing business goals, time-zone logistics, and strategic demands.
Executive Communications: Draft and optimize corporate briefings, investor correspondence, and sensitive internal memos.
Project Liaison: Spearhead critical operational and commercial projects, ensuring internal resource alignment.
VIP Liaison Management: Provide premium, seamless support for visiting international investment partners and board members.
Change Management: Drive the execution of transformation initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., PMP, Chartered Secretary) is highly advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment (FMCG, consulting, or investment banking), with at least 5 years of dedicated C-Suite or board-level support.
Skills: Exceptional emotional intelligence (EQ), high level of discretion, and the resilience to perform under executive scrutiny.
