The Role: Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst at Transsion, you will play a pivotal role in guiding business decisions. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to support strategic decision-making across various departments. By building robust dashboards, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and identifying emerging trends, you will directly influence operational efficiency, market positioning, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Management: Retrieve, clean, validate, and analyze critical business data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards to keep stakeholders informed.
- KPI Monitoring: Track key business metrics to identify growth trends, operational bottlenecks, and strategic opportunities.
- Business Decision Support: Perform deep-dive analyses across sales, financial, marketing, and customer metrics to back business operations with empirical evidence.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Operations to understand and fulfill their data and reporting needs.
- Process Automation: Actively find ways to automate repetitive reporting tasks to improve team efficiency and speed.
- Data Governance: Perform data reconciliation to ensure consistency across systems while maintaining strict compliance with data security and integrity standards.
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Strong command of SQL for querying and database manipulation.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R is considered a distinct advantage.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical capabilities, precise attention to detail, problem-solving prowess, and excellent presentation skills to convey complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
