About the Role

In this role, you will be at the forefront of imparting critical technological skills to young minds. Your core responsibilities will include:

Facilitating engaging on-site coding and robotics classes.
Developing comprehensive and exciting course content tailored for primary and secondary school students.
Grading student assignments and providing constructive, detailed feedback to both students and parents.
Cultivating an environment of logic, critical thinking, and creativity.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong foundational background in computer science along with practical teaching experience. The ideal applicant must meet the following criteria:

Must hold a Computer Science Degree or a relevant degree.
Demonstrated experience working with Educational Game engines such as Godot, Buildbox, Kodu, etc.
Solid knowledge of computer science basics and development across game development, mobile application development, and/or web development.
Familiarity with MIT Scratch educational software.
Practical programming experience using the Python programming language.
Proven ability to serve as an effective instructor in coding and ICT for primary and secondary schools.
Ability to design specific computer science curricula covering game programming, app development, logic, and critical thinking.
Basic familiarity with robotics technology and Artificial Intelligence concepts.
Bonus: Prior hands-on experience working with Arduino, micro:bit, Virtual Reality (VR), and Drone Technology will be a distinct advantage.
