The Opportunity: Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities in This Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse and challenging, focusing on driving our market presence and achieving ambitious targets:
- Market Expansion: Drive aggressive sales strategies and expand BlueWave's market footprint, particularly in solar and energy storage solutions.
- Relationship Building: Forge and nurture strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms, and corporate clients.
- Deal Closure: Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from developing compelling proposals and negotiating favourable contracts to successfully closing deals.
- Target Achievement: Consistently achieve and exceed assigned revenue and growth targets, demonstrating a clear impact on the company’s bottom line.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of the latest market trends, monitor competitor activities, and keep informed about regulatory developments to inform strategic decisions.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record and a deep understanding of the renewable energy sector:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field is required, with an MBA being a distinct advantage.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of solid experience in business development or sales, specifically within the solar industry.
- Industry Network: Possess a strong industry network and demonstrate deep knowledge of renewable energy products and solutions.
- Communication Excellence: Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of influencing and engaging diverse audiences.
- Results-Oriented: A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, showcasing a relentless drive for success.
