The Role

In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for translating high-level business problems into actionable AI solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring our products are not only technically sound but commercially viable. Your daily work will involve close collaboration with founders, engineers, and data scientists, ensuring that every feature we build aligns with customer needs and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Market Analysis: Conduct deep research into market trends and competitor offerings within the Nigerian and broader African landscape.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize product usage data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
Requirements Gathering: Define product requirements, user stories, and success metrics for new AI features.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate findings to leadership and help prioritize the product roadmap to ensure maximum ROI.
Process Improvement: Map out business processes to pinpoint where automation and AI can drive efficiency.
Reporting: Create and maintain dynamic dashboards to track KPIs across product, sales, and customer success.

Who You Are

Qualified: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experienced: You have at least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst. Startup or tech-sector experience is highly valued.
Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in Excel and SQL, with experience in tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Metabase. Familiarity with Python is a significant bonus.
AI Fluent: While you do not need to build models yourself, you have a solid grasp of AI/ML concepts and data pipelines.
Strategic Thinker: You possess strong business acumen, allowing you to connect raw data to bottom-line business growth.
Excellent Communicator: You can translate technical data into compelling stories for non-technical stakeholders.
