About the Role

The Assistant Factory Manager will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the production facility. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic NYSC member looking to gain hands-on experience in fashion production management, supply chain logistics, and team supervision. Working closely with the Factory Manager, you will help bridge the gap between creative designs and physical production, ensuring that every garment meets Wurafadaka’s high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Coordination: Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring daily production activities to ensure orders are completed on time.
  • Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance checks on raw materials, works-in-progress, and finished garments to maintain the brand's premium reputation.
  • Inventory Management: Track stock levels of fabrics, accessories, and finished items, ensuring minimal waste and timely replenishment.
  • Team Supervision: Assist in supervising factory tailors, artisans, and helper staff, fostering a productive and collaborative working environment.
  • Reporting: Document production metrics, operational challenges, and achievements for management review.

Role Requirements

  • Target Candidate: Must be a currently serving Nigerian Corp Member (NYSC) looking for a challenging and rewarding Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
  • Qualifications: Possess a relevant degree or diploma (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Production, Fashion Design, or a related discipline).
  • Experience: Prior basic experience in a production, administrative, or fashion environment is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. A keen eye for detail and a strong willingness to learn the business of fashion.
