The Role: After-Sales Inventory Supervisor
As the After-Sales Inventory Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will oversee the seamless availability, storage, and distribution of spare parts across all service centers, field technician teams, and authorized repair partners. Your mission is to maintain the perfect balance of inventory—ensuring critical parts are always available while keeping holding costs to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Control & Forecasting: Leverage deep product-specific knowledge to accurately forecast parts demand, manage supplier relations, and reduce inventory holding costs.
- Stock Level Optimization: Establish and maintain strict minimum and maximum stock levels for critical, high-failure components to prevent service disruptions while avoiding over-stocking dead inventory.
- Sourcing & Procurement: Sourcing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and high-quality aftermarket spare parts. This includes negotiating favorable lead times, pricing, and minimum order quantities (MOQs).
- Vendor Management: Monitor and evaluate vendor compliance regarding part quality, defect rates, and delivery punctuality to ensure our standards are never compromised.
- Technical Support: Directly support the technical team to minimize product repair turnaround times, ensuring our customers receive swift and reliable service.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or after-sales service coordination (preferably in the electronics or consumer goods sector).
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of managing supplier relationships effectively.
- Analytical mindset capable of forecasting demands and setting optimal stock parameters.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities to coordinate with field teams and external service partners.
