Strengthening Our Institutional Capacity
This recruitment exercise is strategically aimed at strengthening the Commission's institutional capacity. We are particularly focused on enhancing our capabilities in vital areas such as electoral administration, voter registration, robust data management, efficient election logistics, and other critical electoral operations, all in furtherance of our constitutional mandate.
Who We Are Looking For: Minimum Requirements
We invite applications from individuals who possess a strong foundation in administration and a commitment to public service. To be considered for this vital role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or an equivalent qualification in Social Sciences, Humanities, or Sciences from a Government recognized institution.
- A minimum of two (2) years of cognate experience in administration, records management, electoral operations, or other related duties is essential.
- Hold an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Certificate of Exemption.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of data management and meticulous record keeping practices.
- Exhibit strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, crucial for collaborative environments.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possess other relevant ICT skills.
General Requirements for All Applicants
In addition to the specific qualifications listed above, all applicants must fulfill the following general criteria:
- Be a Nigerian citizen by birth or descent.
- Present a valid Certificate of State of Origin, duly signed by the Chairman or Secretary of their Local Government. Certificates endorsed by Liaison Officers will not be accepted.
- Be computer literate, as technology is integral to our operations.
- Be certified by a Government Medical Officer as physically and mentally fit for appointment into the Commission.
- Not be above 35 years of age at the point of application.
- Possess good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offense.
- Be willing to serve in any part of the Federation where assigned, demonstrating flexibility and dedication.
- Embody integrity, discipline, and a strong commitment to Public Service.
