About the Role

As a 3PL Truck Sourcing Officer, you will serve as a vital link between our logistics operations and our third-party transport partners. Key Responsibilities

Vendor Onboarding: Source and onboard third-party logistics (3PL) trucks to align seamlessly with dispatch schedules.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with independent truck owners and transport companies.
Cost Optimization: Leverage your negotiation skills to secure competitive haulage rates while maintaining high service standards.
Operational Excellence: Coordinate daily with transport providers to ensure timely deployment and real-time readiness.
Strategic Reporting: Maintain an extensive database of approved vendors and provide insightful reports on market trends, vendor performance, and logistics intelligence.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who combine academic grounding with hands-on industry experience. To succeed in this role, you should possess:

An OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–2 years of proven experience in truck sourcing, logistics coordination, or transport operations.
An existing network of transport companies and truck owners (a significant advantage).
Expertise in negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control strategies.
