The Role
As our Nutrition Program Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and evaluation of our nutrition-focused interventions. You will serve as a bridge between our organization and those in need, working alongside healthcare professionals and community stakeholders to deliver life-changing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement nutrition intervention programs and activities.
- Conduct professional nutrition assessments, screenings, and regular beneficiary follow-ups.
- Deliver impactful nutrition education and community awareness sessions.
- Collect, analyze, and report on vital program data to track outcomes.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with health facilities and partner organizations to scale our impact.
- Support food distribution efforts and nutrition-sensitive projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in public health, nutrition, or community development.
- Excellent report-writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in data collection tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or within a team.
- A willingness to travel to project locations within Lagos as required.
