About the Role
As the Night Duty Manager, you will serve as the primary manager on duty during the night shift. Your role is vital in maintaining the high standards of excellence that Philban Consulting clients expect. You will be responsible for overseeing all nocturnal hotel operations, ensuring that guests experience seamless service, absolute safety, and a welcoming atmosphere from dusk till dawn.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all hotel operations efficiently during the night shift.
- Ensure uncompromising standards of guest service and professionally resolve any guest complaints.
- Oversee front desk operations, including late check-ins, early check-outs, and executing the critical night audit.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Housekeeping, Security, Maintenance, and other internal departments.
- Maintain the utmost safety and security of all guests, staff, and hotel property.
- Handle unexpected emergencies and operational roadblocks calmly and effectively as the manager on duty.
- Prepare comprehensive nightly handover and incident reports for daytime management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated previous experience in hotel operations or front office supervision.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer-first service skills.
- Proficiency in hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) will be considered a significant advantage.
