The Role

As a Junior Consultant, you will act as the engine room for our Business Development, Strategy, and HR functions. Your core responsibility is to translate external market trends and internal organizational data into high-impact intelligence. You will help our firm and our clients navigate complex operating environments by providing clear, data-backed recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Intelligence for Execution: Deliver critical decision-support information, identifying risks, threats, and opportunities across various sectors.
Thought Leadership: Generate research-backed insights that position PIF Africa as a forward-thinking leader in the industry.
Impact Evidence: Track, measure, and communicate the tangible outcomes and value generated through our projects and advisory services.
Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with departments including Finance, Legal, HR, and Programmes to streamline operations and enhance project delivery.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a candidate who is intellectually curious, highly organized, and capable of synthesizing vast amounts of information into concise, readable formats. You should possess:

Academic Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Public Policy, Law, or a related discipline.
Experience: 12–24 months of relevant experience in research, data analysis, consulting support, or knowledge management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
Analytical Rigor: An ability to identify meaningful patterns in data and convert them into strategic recommendations.
Mindset: A practical, commercially aware, and execution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
