Key Responsibilities
As the Head of Bar / Coffee Barista, you will be expected to oversee the daily operations of the bar and coffee station. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, training, and mentoring junior baristas and bar staff to ensure consistent beverage quality and service excellence.
- Preparing and serving a wide range of premium coffee, artisanal teas, cocktails, and mocktails in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Managing bar inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Maintaining a spotless, hygienic, and organized bar and seating area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engaging with customers, handling inquiries, and delivering a warm, professional, and memorable service.
- Developing exciting new seasonal drink menus and promotional beverage offerings.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this leadership role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of active, hands-on experience in a similar role (Head Barista, Lead Bartender, or Bar Supervisor).
- Skills: Excellent espresso extraction and milk texturing skills, creative latte art, and solid mixology knowledge.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to connect with clients and team members alike.
