Key Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and execute diverse menus featuring local and international dishes with a creative flair.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation in compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage kitchen inventory, monitor stock levels, and minimize food waste to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and food and beverage management to deliver seamless service during peak hours and special events.
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff to uphold the restaurant's culinary vision.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven professional experience working as a Chef or in a similar senior culinary role within the hospitality industry.
- Deep knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and international culinary techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to culinary excellence and presentation.
- Relevant certifications in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field will be an added advantage.
