Opportunity: State ACSM Engagement Coordinator Consultant - Sokoto

eHealth Africa is at the forefront of transforming healthcare delivery through innovative information management systems. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated State Advocacy, Community Engagement and Reporting (ACSM) Coordinator to join our team in Sokoto. This role is pivotal to the successful implementation of the GTS-COMM-R Grant, which focuses on digitizing community mobilization monitoring and reporting.

The Role

As the State Engagement Coordinator, you will serve as the primary link between our organization and local stakeholders. You will provide strategic leadership in coordinating community engagement efforts, ensuring the successful rollout and institutionalization of our digitized toolkit across the four key phases: Entry, Planning, Implementation, and Transition. You will represent eHealth Africa at the ACSM Working Group, driving alignment with state priorities and government initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead stakeholder engagement with government agencies, traditional and religious leaders, and community-based organizations.
Provide technical support, supportive supervision for data collectors, and strengthen monitoring and reporting systems.
Design and execute advocacy plans to influence policy and decision-makers at the state level.
Facilitate the integration of RI, Polio, and HIV response efforts.
Analyze and document state-level ACSM activities to inform national and local strategies.
Provide training and capacity-building support to local partners to enhance their advocacy skills.

Who You Are

We are looking for a proactive professional with the following qualifications:

B.Sc. Degree in a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in community engagement projects (NGO experience preferred).
Strong familiarity with digital toolkits like ODK or KoboToolbox and Google Workspace.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with traditional institutions and community stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in English; ability to speak Hausa and Fulani is highly desirable.
Preference will be given to candidates residing in the region.
