About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in our medical operations by ensuring the efficient management, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical supplies. Working under the supervision of the Pharmacy Supervisor, you will be the backbone of our supply chain, ensuring that life-saving treatments reach those who need them most.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and tracking of pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring accurate record-keeping on stock cards and digital platforms.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare and dispatch orders for various departments and wards while monitoring consumption patterns and reporting anomalies.
- Quality Control: Monitor storage conditions, including humidity and cold chain requirements, to maintain the integrity of medical products.
- Security and Compliance: Manage warehouse access, report discrepancies or damages, and ensure all activities align with ALIMA’s safety protocols.
- Reporting: Track stock levels against expiry dates and alert limits, providing regular reports to the Pharmacy Supervisor.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Diploma or HND in Pharmacy or a similar field of study (a higher degree is considered an asset).
- At least 3 years of professional experience in HR, Administration, or Finance settings.
- Exceptional organizational and planning capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
- The resilience to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
