Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacist at Rayfield Medical Services, you will play a critical role in patient care and clinical operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Medication Dispensing & Review: Accurately dispense medications and review prescriptions to ensure appropriate dosage, prevent drug interactions, and maintain patient safety.
- Patient Counseling: Provide comprehensive guidance to patients on how to take their medications, manage potential side effects, and store pharmaceuticals correctly.
- Therapy Monitoring: Actively monitor drug therapy outcomes and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic results.
- Safe Practices: Adhere to and enforce all standard pharmaceutical safety regulations and legal guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement, storage, and inventory levels of pharmaceutical stock to ensure steady availability of critical medications.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from a recognized institution.
- Licensing: A current, valid license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of post-NYSC clinical or hospital pharmacy experience.
- Key Skills: Outstanding communication, strong attention to detail, exceptional teamwork, and customer service skills.
- IT Literacy: Proficiency in computer applications is essential for digital record-keeping and inventory management.
