Christian Miracle Hospital, a reputable NHIS-accredited institution in Enugu, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Doctor to join our esteemed team. Established in 1992, our facility has a long-standing history of providing exceptional gynaecological, fertility, and maternity services to our community. Located in the serene Independence Layout, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
The Role
We are looking for professionals who are passionate about maternal and reproductive health. This role operates on a shift basis, allowing for a structured work-life balance through either a 'day and night' shift pattern or a 'one week in, one week out' arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Conduct thorough outpatient consultations and manage specialized antenatal and fertility clinics.
- Surgical Expertise: Perform or assist in obstetric and gynaecological surgeries, including Caesarean sections, fibroid removals, and appendectomies.
- Patient Management: Lead daily ward rounds, oversee pre- and post-operative care, and ensure compassionate service delivery.
- Emergency Response: Provide 24/7 on-site medical support and manage obstetric emergencies with clinical precision.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain meticulous patient records, interpret laboratory results, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
- Mentorship & Education: Assist in the evaluation of trainee doctors and medical students, and actively promote health education among our patient population.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with a current practicing license.
- Experience: A strong, demonstrated interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology is mandatory.
