Key Responsibilities
The Locum Medical Officer is at the heart of our clinic operations. You will be expected to provide expert clinical care while balancing administrative and leadership responsibilities. Your core duties will include:
- Strategic Contribution: Driving clinic performance, setting service targets, and contributing to the overall mission of MSI Nigeria.
- Clinical Excellence: Delivering high-quality patient care, including antenatal services, family planning, and maternal child health support, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Team Leadership: Coordinating clinical units, supervising medical staff, and fostering an environment of continuous professional development and coaching.
- Resource Management: Overseeing the procurement and inventory of essential medical supplies, managing budgets, and ensuring the financial sustainability of the clinic.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also entrepreneurial and results-driven. To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Possess an MBBS degree with a minimum of 2 years post-NYSC clinical experience in an established facility.
- Hold a current and valid MDCN License.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Prior experience in sexual, reproductive, and maternal health is highly desirable.
- BLS certification is considered a significant advantage.
