Role Overview

As a member of the Kitchen/Catering Staff at Divine Mercy Specialist Hospital, you will be responsible for preparing healthy, hygienic, and nutritious meals for patients, visitors, and healthcare personnel. This role requires individuals who understand the importance of sanitation, dietary compliance, and excellent customer service within a medical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals in accordance with hospital dietary guidelines and safety standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to kitchen hygiene, food handling, and sanitization protocols to prevent contamination.
- Manage kitchen inventory, including food supplies, utensils, and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper storage.
- Coordinate with medical staff to accommodate specific dietary requirements or restrictions for patients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients, guests, and staff members alike.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant qualifications, certifications, or formal training in Culinary Arts, Catering, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a cook, chef, or catering assistant (experience within a hospital or corporate institution is highly preferred).
- Deep understanding of food safety, health regulations, and nutritional guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- High level of personal hygiene, discipline, and attention to detail.
