The Role
As a Floor Coordinator, you will act as the heartbeat of our hospital floor. You will be responsible for orchestrating the seamless flow of patient journeys—from registration and diagnostics to consultation, optical services, and discharge. This is a vital leadership position that bridges the gap between clinical teams and support departments, ensuring that every patient receives the world-class care that defines the Skipper Eye-Q brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Monitor daily patient movement to minimize wait times and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
- Patient Experience: Champion a patient-centric culture by resolving complaints, providing guidance, and monitoring satisfaction levels.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a diverse support team, including receptionists, housekeeping, and porters, to maintain peak professional standards.
- Cross-Departmental Synergy: Coordinate effectively with ophthalmologists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure an uninterrupted and professional workflow.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain rigorous standards in hospital policy compliance, infection control, and accurate documentation.
Who You Are
We are looking for candidates who bring the following to our team:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in hospital operations, healthcare management, or high-end hospitality. Previous experience in an eye care or multi-specialty environment is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office and experience with Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS/EMR).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to multitask effectively in a high-pressure, patient-focused environment.
