Opportunity: Country Lead, Nigeria - WISH Dividend, Policy & Systems Programme

Palladium Group is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Country Lead for Nigeria to spearhead the Women's Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) Dividend, Policy & Systems Programme. This is a pivotal role for an individual dedicated to creating enduring social and economic value through collaborative, evidence-based interventions.

About the Role

As the Country Lead, you will act as the primary representative for the programme in Nigeria. You will be responsible for managing high-level relationships with the FCDO and government counterparts, ensuring that technical assistance (TA) is aligned with national priorities while delivering sustainable, long-term impact. You will lead the development of annual workplans, oversee financial management, and ensure the programme achieves its logframe targets with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Design and implement consecutive annual workplans, ensuring they are responsive to iterative adaptation principles.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the lead liaison with FCDO, government bodies, and technical partners to foster synergy and institutional sustainability.
Technical Oversight: Manage the end-to-end delivery of technical assistance, ensuring all project outputs meet the highest quality standards.
Financial Stewardship: Maintain rigorous control over country-level budgets, forecasting, and expenditure, demonstrating consistent value for money.
Representation: Represent the WISH Dividend P&S programme at senior-level policy dialogues and strategic forums.

Required Experience & Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

Significant experience in leading complex, large-scale, donor-funded health programmes in Nigeria, specifically with FCDO.
Deep technical understanding of demography/DT and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) within the Nigerian context.
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and navigate intricate institutional dynamics.
Strong financial acumen, including budget management and compliance reporting.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a robust network of government and stakeholder relationships.
