We are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified scholars to serve as Project Co-Supervisors for our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, specifically focusing on International Relations & Diplomacy.

Key Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this prestigious role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Academic Rank: Candidates must not be below the rank of Senior Lecturer. Readers and Professors are particularly encouraged to apply, especially for postgraduate research supervision.
• Qualification: A minimum of a Ph.D. in International Relations, Diplomacy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Proven expertise in the relevant field of specialization, paired with a robust track record of postgraduate supervision and research publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.

Conflict of Interest Guidelines

To maintain absolute impartiality and academic integrity, applicants must ensure they have no conflicts of interest. This includes:

• Current or recent employment with Iconic Open University within the last three years.
• Close professional, contractual, or personal relationships with staff or students involved in the programme.
• Significant involvement in recent collaborative research with staff closely involved in the programme.
• Reciprocal arrangements involving cognate programmes at other institutions.
• Former students of the University, unless at least five years have elapsed and all students taught by or with the applicant have successfully completed their programmes.

Preferred Qualifications

• A strong publication record in reputable journals within the last three years.
• Prior experience working within Open and Distance Learning (ODL) environments.
• Demonstrated leadership in research and postgraduate academic development.

Tenure and Engagement

Successful candidates will be engaged on a contractual basis, undertaking specified duties and roles that support the academic mission of the university over a designated period.
