Role Overview

As a Project Co-Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our rigorous academic standards. This call is specifically open to experienced scholars with demonstrated expertise in English and related disciplines. You will be engaged on a contractual basis to provide expert research supervision, ensuring our students produce impactful, high-quality scholarly work within an innovative Open and Distance Learning (ODL) framework.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this prestigious position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Academic Rank: Candidates must not be below the rank of Senior Lecturer. Readers and Professors are particularly encouraged to apply, especially for postgraduate research supervision.
• Qualification: Possession of a minimum of a Ph.D. in English or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Extensive expertise in your specialization with a proven track record of postgraduate supervision and research publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.

Please note that candidates must be free from any conflicts of interest, including recent employment with Iconic Open University within the past three years, close personal or professional relationships with current staff or students, or being a former student of the University (unless at least five years have elapsed).

Preferred Qualifications

• A strong publication record in reputable journals over the last three years.
• Prior experience working within Open and Distance Learning (ODL) environments.
• Demonstrated leadership in academic research and postgraduate mentorship.
