The Role
As a Montessori Teacher at our academy, you will be instrumental in creating a prepared environment that encourages self-directed learning and independence. You will be responsible for:
- Planning and executing Montessori-based learning activities.
- Maintaining a stimulating and organized classroom environment.
- Observing and documenting student progress to support their individual growth.
- Building strong, professional relationships with parents and guardians.
- Ensuring the safety, welfare, and emotional well-being of all students.
Requirements
We are looking for an educator who embodies patience, empathy, and a genuine love for childhood development. Our ideal candidate possesses:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or NCE in Early Childhood Education or a related field. A Montessori certification is highly desirable.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a Montessori or Early Years setting.
- Skills: A deep understanding of Montessori philosophy, excellent classroom management, and superior communication skills.
- Disposition: A warm, caring approach with a strong commitment to child-centered learning.
