About the Role
As a Librarian, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of reading, research, and continuous learning among students and staff. You will be responsible for organizing, managing, and maintaining the school library's resources, ensuring that students and educators have seamless access to a rich collection of books, digital media, and educational materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize physical and digital library collections efficiently.
- Assist students and teachers in locating and utilizing relevant research materials and books.
- Create a welcoming, quiet, and conducive environment for study and reading.
- Catalog new acquisitions and maintain an updated inventory of all library resources.
- Promote literacy and a love for reading through engaging library programs and activities.
What We Are Looking For
- Relevant qualifications in Library Science, Information Studies, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in an educational institution or similar setting is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and youth development.
