Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures to undergraduate students in the Department of Economics.
• Develop and update course curricula, syllabi, and teaching materials in line with NUC guidelines and modern economic theories.
• Conduct impactful research and contribute to academic publications in reputable journals.
• Mentor and advise students on academic progression, career paths, and personal development.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committee work, and university-wide community service initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in Economics or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
• Alternatively, holders of a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification full-time teaching experience at the tertiary level are also eligible to apply.
• Strong evidence of academic publications will serve as a distinct added advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
