Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in Government and History to secondary school students.
- Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Prepare students for internal examinations as well as relevant external examinations (e.g., WAEC, NECO).
- Collaborate with colleagues to organize academic and cultural events that enrich the school's curriculum.
Candidate Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Minimum of a B.Ed., or a B.Sc./B.A. accompanied by a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Communication & Management: Strong verbal and written communication skills, paired with exceptional classroom management abilities.
- Passion: A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and contributing to holistic child development.
- Experience: Previous secondary school teaching experience (5 years and above) will be a distinct added advantage.
- Tech Savvy: Computer literacy and the ability to integrate modern educational technology into daily lessons.
