Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive English Language lessons tailored to diverse learning styles.
- Utilize modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, curriculum development, and extracurricular activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Education (B.Ed.) in a relevant subject from a reputable university. (A PGDE or Master’s Degree will be a distinct advantage).
- Must be a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant post-qualification teaching experience within an international school setting.
- Strong technological proficiency, with the ability to effectively use ICT to elevate teaching methods.
- Familiarity and working knowledge of the IGCSE curriculum will be considered a significant added advantage.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
