Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications and skill sets:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a closely related field.
- Professional Certification: A formal teaching qualification. Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is considered a strong advantage.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience in a reputable primary or secondary school setting.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding oral and written communication skills, exceptional classroom management techniques, and a compassionate approach to student mentoring.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience utilizing basic educational technology tools to enhance classroom learning.
