Key Responsibilities
As an Early Years / Primary School Teacher at Tade Tender Touch School, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Lesson Planning & Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver highly engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons that align with the curriculum.
- Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Pupil Assessment: Regularly assess and monitor pupils’ academic and behavioral progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open, professional, and effective communication with parents, guardians, and school colleagues regarding pupils' development.
- Holistic Development: Support the overall well-being, social skills, and emotional growth of each child.
- School Community Participation: Actively participate in school activities, staff meetings, and continuous professional development programs.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Qualification: Minimum of an NCE (National Certificate in Education). A B.Ed. or PGDE is an added advantage.
- Experience: Proven teaching experience in a nursery or primary school setting.
- Skills: Strong classroom management capabilities and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
- Personal Attributes: A genuine passion for teaching, patience, and a love for working with young children.
